Being one of the oldest and most respected wallcoverings names in the world, there is no wonder that Anaglypta is still going strong 128 years after being founded by Thomas Palmer. In May of 2012, The Anaglypta brand was purchased by Retford Wallcoverings Ltd, a company already well renowned for the quality of their lining papers. Since then, the team at Retford have been working on improving their website, product image and pattern collection.

The new Anaglypta book has now been launched, showcasing a range of new designs and innovative products including a selection of new products; some of which have been inspired by products from the archives, and others are completely fresh. This new range has been divided by style, making selection easier than ever.

HERITAGE, A selection showcasing the oldest patterns in the range, dating right back to the founding of the company in 1887 up to and including all patterns introduced up until the end of the 1930's. Using product from the Heritage range can give either a comprehensive period look or a vintage touch in a contemporary setting.

RETRO, The post war collection allows you to capture a spirit of real retro style. Within the Retro collection there are fabulous designs from the forties through to the seventies all produced using a range of the high quality materials that Anaglypta is so well known and respected for.

CLASSICS, offers a range of ever popular timeless designs, all compatible with a wide variety of tastes and styles, crafted to the high quality standards you can expect from the Anaglypta brand.

CONTEMPORARY, is a selection that has been completely remastered, offering a range of up to date modern designs along with paste the wall capabilities on all patterns. With two width choices, there are options for all, the extra long, extra wide contract rolls allowing for an even quicker and easier job.

New products have been introduced into each section, Heritage, RD126 'Cloisters' a take on an old design that was originally launched in the 1920's. RD576 'Deco Paradiso' a bold geometric pattern, reintroduced due to the enthusiasm for its sharp angular design. Retro, RD819 'Cottage Garden' originally launched in 1969, giving an authentic taste of the swinging sixties. Classics, RD812 'Lincolnshire Brick', is a perfect way to create a cosy country look or add some industrial charm to your room. Contemporary, a range that has been remastered to include more appealing textures to suit all tastes.
